Knightsbridge flat • Client: Private • Team: Nathaniel Kolbe • Budget: N/A • Photography: Soren Aagaard

This flat overlooking Hyde Park required a full refurbishment due to decades of neglect. Simple, clean lines were used to create usable wall space and difference from one plane to another.

The entertainment system is contained within a range of shelves semi-randomly spaced across the wall. The storage units below which hold the systems are gradually becoming smaller as they move toward the inner corner of the room. The wall directly adjacent is left open for an experiment with lighting for the more playful array of photographs and paintings of the owner.

The 'object' wall is meant to float above and away from the wall behind so that the various objects are placed in mid-air.
