The six storey building in North London is designed with an exquisite facade that undulates at the top while the line at ground remains straight; the result is an elegant wave. The bricks follow a new alignment, rotated 60 degrees to the line of the facade.

The corner is rounded to follow the geometry and indicate the prominance of the position of the building in the city block. All 12 flats benefit from balconies and view over the park.

The brick orientation and glazing produces a gradient effect over the facade without the need to individually place the colour.

Material organization is of great importance to the project. By setting out a strategy for the use of simple brick we are able to accomplish structure, performance and beauty in a single operation. It highlights the importance of a strong idea behind every Superfusionlab project.
