CREATING A CAMPUS FOR LATSIA PARK

The extensive disused area between two neighbourhoods in Latsia, near Nicosia, is turned into a park for the residents. A 'high street' of paving stones and pergola cuts through the park and unites the neighbourhoods with a path. Off the main path sit the educational centre, the restaurant, an amphitheatre, tennis and basketball courts.

Native flora is introduced while existing topography allows for underground parking to be possible while hidden in the hill. The restaurant is positioned at the highest point of the topography to ensure uninterrupted panoramic views.
